D4vd signs over two Texas homes to his mother as police investigate teen found in his Tesla

Rising music artist D4vd has been at the center of public attention in recent weeks. Online conversations have circulated around his possible connection to the death of Celese Rivas Hernandez, whose body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition inside his Tesla. So far, D4vd has not been charged with any offense related to Rivas’ death. Authorities continue to investigate how the teenager ended up in his car.
At the same time, D4vd seems to be making adjustments to his finances while the investigation remains open. Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that the singer transferred the titles of two Houston-area properties from a trust in his name to his mother. These transactions were completed on September 18 and September 22. As previously noted by HNHH, LAPD carried out a search warrant at his Los Angeles rental home on September 18.
On that same day, an unidentified person allegedly used a voice-altering device to falsely claim that there had been a shooting at the home. The caller said that a woman was dead inside. When officers arrived, they were met by D4vd’s parents, who explained that his younger siblings were upstairs and that no actual emergency had occurred.
Since then, online users have speculated widely about what might have happened. Many questions remain about D4vd’s possible role in the case. The property transfers have only added to the conversation, as the timing has drawn increased scrutiny.
It also appears that D4vd’s family was already living in one of the homes involved, which means the transaction may not have involved a physical move but rather a legal change in ownership. Even so, the timing has fueled public curiosity and intensified discussions online.
Meanwhile, D4vd’s manager, Josh Marshall, responded to the swirling rumors in an effort to set the record straight. In the comment section of a TikTok video discussing the case, Marshall said he had no knowledge of Rivas’ disappearance or death before the news broke. He explained that he works remotely and does not have daily in-person contact with the singer. He also clarified that no one on their team was aware of any issue involving the vehicle.
Marshall also urged people to stop spreading unverified claims. He pointed to the emotional weight the situation has placed on both Rivas’ family and those close to D4vd.
For now, the case continues to unfold as the investigation remains ongoing.
