Pooh Shiesty Laughs Off Viral AI Clip Featuring Bronny James

By ZACHARY HORVATH

Does Pooh Shiesty have any real issue with Bronny James? Probably not, but that has not stopped the internet from turning a simple lyric into a full moment. The Memphis rapper recently returned with his first single in nearly two years, “FDO” (First Day Out), and fans have been running with it ever since.

The song arrived as a celebration of Shiesty’s release from prison following a three year sentence. In 2022, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess firearms in connection with crimes of violence and drug trafficking. His legal troubles stemmed from a 2021 indictment tied to a shooting in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.

Shiesty was released earlier than originally expected, returning home in early October rather than sometime during the first stretch of 2026, which many had anticipated.

While listeners have embraced the record on its own merits, one particular lyric has drawn outsized attention due to its reference to Bronny James. “See, my daddy my first co-D, jumped in the streets, he showed me lanes (Them facts) / Your daddy a killer, but you ain't, you just like Bronny James (Facts).”

The line caught people off guard and quickly became a talking point, especially given that Bronny, the son of LeBron James, has been navigating a difficult and closely watched start to his career in the NBA.

Is Pooh Shiesty Working On An Album?

Unsurprisingly, fans took that bar and ran with it, spinning it into memes and videos, including the one mentioned above. Shared by Live Bitez, the AI generated clip places Shiesty in a locker room huddle with Los Angeles Lakers players, Bronny included, as he tries to fire up his teammates.

Things quickly take a turn when the “Back in Blood” rapper ignores the team spirit and slams Bronny onto the court. The exaggerated impact leaves a massive crater in the floor, pushing the clip fully into cartoon territory.

Adding to the humor, Shiesty shared his own reaction to the video. “The fck is going on?” he says at first, before leaning into the chaos and cheering himself on. “Come here little as n****! Get yo btch as off me!” he added. He later reposted the clip on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Ai outta control ??.”

As for the bigger picture, the song naturally raises questions about what Shiesty might have planned next. There is no official word yet on a new project, but considering how much time has passed since Shiesty Season, it would not be surprising if he is already back in the studio working toward what comes next.
