Lil Nas X has finally spoken out after being arrested in Los Angeles when he was spotted walking the streets without clothes.

The rapper addressed the situation for the first time since his hospital stay and subsequent arrest last week, describing what happened as “terrifying.”

“Your girl is gonna be ok, y’all. OK?” he said. “S**t’s gonna be all right.”

The 26-year-old admitted that the entire incident left him shaken.

“That was f***king terrifying. That was terrifying!” he shared. “That was a terrifying last four days, but your girl is gonna be all right.”

Authorities said Lil Nas, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was seen on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles around 4 a.m. last Thursday. He was initially wearing only underwear and cowboy boots before being spotted later without any clothes at all.

The episode gained international attention when someone passing by recorded video of the artist looking confused as he moved through traffic while carrying a traffic cone.

When officers arrived, Hill reportedly resisted arrest. He is now facing three felony charges for battery, causing injury to a police officer, along with one felony charge for resisting arrest.

“Assuming the allegations here are true, this is an absolute aberration in this person’s life,” Hill’s lawyer Christy O’Connor told the court, according to NBC. “Nothing like this has ever happened to him.”

On Monday, Hill appeared in court and pleaded not guilty. If found guilty, the Old Town Road star could face a prison sentence of up to five years.
