Summer Walker’s “Alien” Companion Sparks Buzz at Hawks Game
Summer Walker is known for switching things up when it comes to her love life. Lately, though, it seems she’s just having fun stepping out with different people. It all began in early September when she showed up to the MTV VMAs with an older, unidentified man by her side.
To this day, no one really knows who he is. The only thing the public learned was that he was described as a “special friend” to the R&B star. Some people online speculated that he might have been a sugar daddy, but Summer quickly shut that down, making it clear she didn’t need one. Still, she didn’t miss the chance to make her feelings about money very clear: “I don’t give a damn if I got my own money. My money is mine, your money is mine.”
Now it seems Summer has moved on from cozying up to men old enough to have lived through a few extra decades. This time, her date at the Atlanta Hawks game had more of an out-of-this-world twist. Her companion was Space God Da Thug, a comedian and internet personality known for funny videos and musical side projects. The two linked up in the tunnel at State Farm Arena before sitting courtside for the Hawks’ home opener, which marked the start of the 2025–2026 NBA season.
Summer Walker Finally Over It
In a clip shared by The Neighborhood Talk, Space God Da Thug gets down on one knee to shoot his shot. “I’m nothing like these Earth n****s man,” he says while holding her hand. “They done broke your heart, played with you. Look bae, I’m for real. I came all the way from space baby.” Summer looks slightly uncertain but goes along with it, walking arm in arm with him toward the court. Commenters online were amused and entertained. “Lmao Summer is living life and I love that for her lmao! My girl is funny lmao,” one fan wrote. Another joked, “Atlanta is not a real place [three laughing emojis].”
Even if it was just a playful stunt, it’s good to see Summer enjoying herself. She’s also got plenty to look forward to professionally. Her new album Finally Over It is set to be released on November 14 and will feature 18 songs. The lead single, “Heart Of A Woman,” dropped in April. The album will complete a trilogy, following Still Over It and Over It, released four and six years ago respectively.
