Dance Music Star Drew Taggart Is Married to Marianne Fonseca

Dance music favourite Drew Taggart has officially married model Marianne Fonseca.

The Chainsmokers DJ and the Brazilian supermodel shared the joyful update in a joint Instagram post on Monday.

"WE ARE MARRIED!" they wrote alongside a clip of the newlyweds dancing on a beach at sunset in their wedding outfits, with two horses behind them. In the video, Marianne leaps up and wraps her legs around Drew’s waist.

Just days earlier, Marianne, 36, told her Instagram followers that the wedding would take place on 28 December in Costa Rica and that the celebration would be a low key affair with no bridesmaids or groomsmen.

She also explained her vision for the day during an interview with People in December 2024, saying they were aiming for a very personal ceremony.

"We're planning to keep it really small," she said. "I want it to feel very intimate, with just the people we truly love. I don't want it to feel like 'work' to get married. I want to enjoy it and feel vulnerable with our closest loved ones."

Drew, 35, began his relationship with Marianne after the pair met at an Oscars party in March 2023. He later popped the question at the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles in December 2024.

Drew makes up one half of the dance duo The Chainsmokers with Alex Pall. The pair are widely recognised for tracks including Closer, Don't Let Me Down, and their Coldplay collaboration Something Just Like This.
