Post Malone and Slash are set to headline a special tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the Grammy Awards taking place on Sunday (01.02.26).

Post Malone will step on stage at the high profile ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles alongside Guns N’ Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan, joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, for a performance celebrating the life and legacy of the Black Sabbath icon, who died in July aged 76.

They will also be accompanied by producer Andrew Watt, who collaborated closely with Ozzy on his final two solo records, Ordinary Man and Patient Number 9.

The event will additionally include a tribute performance from Lauryn Hill honouring soul musician D'Angelo, who passed away in October, along with a separate homage to singer Roberta Flack, who died in February 2025.

The Grammys In Memoriam segment will see performances from Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson, as the Recording Academy remembers artists who have died over the past year.

Kendrick Lamar leads the field at this year’s Grammy Awards, collecting nine nominations including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.

The Recording Academy also unveiled an impressive shortlist featuring Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Addison Rae and Justin Bieber among the nominees.

Kendrick earned further recognition across multiple categories, including Pop Duo or Group Performance, Melodic Rap Performance, Rap Song and Rap Album, with two additional nods in Rap Performance.

Should GNX take home Album of the Year, it would mark Kendrick’s first win in that category and only the third rap album to ever claim the top honour, following Speakerboxxx/The Love Below by Outkast in 2004 and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1999.

Lady Gaga, alongside producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut, sits just behind with seven nominations each. Gaga made history with her first simultaneous nominations for Song, Record and Album of the Year, while also being recognised in Pop Solo Performance, Pop Vocal Album, Dance Pop Recording and Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Sabrina Carpenter also features prominently in the nominations, earning six nods including Album of the Year for Man’s Best Friend, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video for Manchild, and she has been confirmed as one of the performers at the ceremony.
