The Great Divide, the latest album from Noah Kahan, has claimed the top spot in this week’s fan voted new music poll.

Fans cast their votes in a survey shared Friday April 24 by Billboard, selecting the Vermont born artist’s newest full length project as their favorite release of the week.

The Great Divide came out ahead in a week filled with fresh drops from Kehlani, Hayley Kiyoko and Gigi Perez, Suki Waterhouse and others. When voting wrapped on Sunday, Kahan secured the lead with 60 percent of the total votes.

Released four years after his breakout album Stick Season, the folk rock musician’s The Great Divide officially dropped on Friday. The 17 track project was introduced by its title song “The Great Divide,” which has since become his highest charting entry on the Billboard Hot 100. The track reached No. 6 in February following its debut.

Kahan worked on the album alongside producers Gabe Simon and Aaron Dessner, recording part of the project at Dessner’s Long Pond Studio located in upstate New York.

Alongside the new music, fans can also look ahead to a full tour schedule, beginning June 11 in Orlando, Florida, and continuing through December. Kahan is set to perform across North America before heading to Australia and New Zealand, then continuing on to Europe.

Other releases that followed behind The Great Divide in the poll include Kehlani with 17 percent of the vote, Hayley Kiyoko and Gigi Perez’s collaboration “Collide” with 4 percent, and Suki Waterhouse’s track “Tiny Raisin,” which earned 2 percent.
