Raye Addresses Rumours She Is Dating Michael B. Jordan

Raye has responded to speculation about a romance with Michael B. Jordan.

The Where Is My Husband singer and Sinners actor were linked in August after they were seen riding a roller coaster together at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.

She spoke about the rumours on the red carpet at Sunday’s 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

An Extra reporter asked the 28-year-old whether she was “doing something with Michael B. Jordan” and pressed her for details about a project she has yet to announce.

Raye kept the project under wraps, saying, “I'm technically not allowed to talk about it because I might get in trouble.”

Asked if the dating rumours were true, she joked, “No, we're just friends who like roller coasters.”

At the ceremony, the British singer performed I Will Overcome and Where Is My Husband. She also joined Adam Lambert, Sombr and Teddy Swims for a George Michael tribute medley.

Raye, whose real name is Rachel Keen, earned widespread praise for her second album, This Music May Contain Hope, in March. It drew almost 16 million Spotify streams in its first 24 hours.

Earlier this year, she told fans she plans to wait until she falls in love before writing any songs for her third album.

“My third album is going to be called And Then She Fell In Love, and I'm not going to write a single song of that album, not one single song is getting written, until I fall in love,” she said during a TikTok livestream.

“So my next album is going to be called And Then She Fell In Love. I will fall in love, and then I'll write an album, and every song is going to be like, 'I love love, I'm in love, love forever, she's in love, it's a lovely day to be loved.' I will write that album when I fall in love.”
