Drake drops dog house with Julia Wolf and Yeat

Drake has brought Julia Wolf and Yeat together for his latest single Dog House. Released on Monday night, the track features Wolf setting the tone with the opening lines before Drake jumps in with an explosive verse, followed later by a fiery contribution from Yeat.

Wolf begins the song with her vocals layered over a slower section backed by an electric guitar. The mood shifts when Drake enters, delivering high-energy bars that may even hint at a diss. In the chorus, he raps, “Shout out to her ex, he a crash out/Took too many pills, he a crash out. She is in Hidden Hills in a glass house/I like what I saw, and so I cashed out.”

Drake also turns the spotlight on himself while referencing the Notorious B.I.G. with the line: “Just like Biggie said, I just need one chance, baby/Just like Drizzy said, I just need one dance, baby.”

Yeat comes in near the end with his own hard-hitting verse, rapping, “Fuck a money tree, I’m a cash cow/If I ain’t give a fuck then, I don’t give a fuck now. Got that lil’ employee mad ’cause he fanned out.”

The new single was teased last week during Drake’s livestreamed Iceman episode, where he played the track in a club setting as part of the stream.

Drake is currently in the middle of his large-scale European tour, performing in stadiums and arenas across the continent. His following shows will take place at Berlin’s Uber Arena on September 11 and 14, followed by three nights in Munich and two shows in Hamburg later in the month.

Dog House follows Drake’s recent collaborations Somebody Loves Me Pt. 2 with PartyNextDoor and Which One with Central Cee. For Yeat, this is his first release since his EP Dangerous Summer, which dropped on August 1. Julia Wolf, meanwhile, shared her third album , Pressure , in May, which includes the track In My Room.
