Tay-K’s X Account Responds to Reports Claiming He Has Been Released
Tay-K first gained widespread attention in 2017 with his breakout single, "The Race." The song quickly became a viral sensation, fueled in large part by the circumstances surrounding its release. At the time, the rapper recorded the track while actively evading law enforcement.
During that period, Tay-K was dealing with serious legal issues connected to a home invasion case and a murder charge. He was ultimately found guilty and received a sentence totaling 135 years behind bars. Based on current projections, he is not expected to be released until 2099, when he would be 99 years old.
Despite that, misleading rumors have recently spread online claiming that Tay-K could be leaving prison much sooner. Several blogs and social media accounts have amplified speculation that his release is just around the corner. On Monday, new mugshots of the rapper surfaced, and shortly afterward, activity appeared on his X account, which posted a brief message reading, "It's True."
The timing of the post has led many people to believe the account was reacting to the growing rumors about his possible release. That said, there is no confirmation that Tay-K personally operates the account. With verification now widely available on X, ownership can be difficult to verify.
At this point, there is no credible evidence supporting claims that he is about to be released. No official statements or legal developments have suggested such an outcome. Considering that his projected release date remains decades away, the speculation appears to be based more on internet chatter than on verified information.
Over the years, X and other social platforms have repeatedly helped spread unconfirmed stories and false reports. The latest rumors involving Tay-K seem to fit that pattern. If any legitimate updates emerge regarding his status, however, those developments will likely become clear soon enough.
