Taylor Swift has taken her record-breaking album The Life Of A Showgirl to Number 1 for the third week in a row on the Official Albums Chart.

The Last Dinner Party claim the highest new entry of the week with their second album From The Pyre, which lands at Number 2. Their debut Prelude To Ecstasy reached the top of the Albums Chart in February 2024. From The Pyre also sits at Number 1 on both the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, with the most vinyl sales this week, and the Official Record Store Chart, making it the best-selling album in UK independent record shops over the past seven days.

Tame Impala’s fifth studio release Deadbeat arrives at Number 4. Fronted by Kevin Parker, the group has previously charted with Lonerism (14) in 2012, Currents (3) in 2015, and The Slow Rush (3) in 2020.

Sam Ryder earns his second appearance on the Official Albums Chart with his album Heartland, debuting at Number 11. This milestone comes ahead of his biggest headline show yet at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on November 6.

David Gilmour reaches his ninth solo Top 40 entry with The Luck and Strange Concerts (12), while Miles Kane secures his sixth with Sunlight In The Shadows (13).

Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men return to the Top 40 with their album All Is Love And Pain In The Mouse Parade at Number 16. This becomes their fourth Top 40 record, joining My Head Is An Animal (3) from 2012, Beneath The Skin (10) from 2015, and Fever Dream (15) from 2019. Speaking to Official Charts, Ragnar "Raggi" Þórhallsson shared: “We have the cutest fans in the world. We're so appreciative and very taken aback, thank you!”

This week’s highest climber is Sam Fender with People Watching, which jumps 58 spots to Number 17 following his Mercury Prize win. The album saw a 144 percent increase in sales and streams after the ceremony at Utilita Arena Newcastle. Accepting the prize, Sam said: “We did not expect this at all. All of the other nominees tonight, there's some good friends amongst them – CMAT, Fontaines D.C. – we're in great company. I want to say thank you, because I never did, to the person that the song People Watching is about. I want to dedicate it to Annie Owen who is up there. This region is the best region in the country!”

Scottish singer-songwriter Rianne Downey makes her Official Albums Chart debut with The Consequence Of Love (18), and Ashnikko lands their third Top 40 album with Smoochies (32).
