Kanye West Postpones “BULLY” Once More

By ZACHARY HORVATH

Kanye West has once again postponed the release of his 11th studio album, BULLY. The project, first announced during an event in China back in September 2024, has now gone through five different release dates. According to NFR Podcast, Ye is supposedly aiming for a December 12 release date — though that prediction feels more like a running joke at this point.

At this stage, no one can say for sure when the record will actually arrive. The situation feels a lot like the slow rollouts of Roddy Ricch’s THE NAVY ALBUM and A$AP Rocky’s DON’T BE DUMB. These projects might come out someday — or maybe not at all.

While Kanye is now releasing music independently and doesn’t need approval from a label, that freedom may have made things even less predictable. Without any contractual pressure, he could easily decide to scrap the album entirely.

BULLY was originally planned to drop on June 15, which happens to be North West’s birthday. When that didn’t happen, he shared a small collection of tracks on June 20 instead. The three-song EP included “PREACHER MAN,” “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,” and “DAMN,” with the middle track giving fans their first glimpse of the album’s sound.

Ye followed up on July 4 with two more singles — “LAST BREATH” and “LOSING YOUR MIND.”

By that point, fans were genuinely hopeful that the July 25 release date would finally be the real one. Unfortunately, it came and went without any album in sight. The release was delayed again to September and later moved to this month.

The Spotify countdown had even been set to end on Friday, November 7, but once again there was no official update. Without any notice or explanation, fans were told to expect another month’s wait.

There was a flicker of hope earlier today when a new song surfaced online featuring Kodak Black. The leaked track, tentatively titled “Bulletproof,” samples La Roux’s 2009 electro-pop hit of the same name and has been getting a fair amount of positive feedback from listeners.

Still, it’s important to mention that the track hasn’t been officially confirmed as part of the BULLY album lineup.
