Big Sean Seemingly Responds to Rumors About Jhene Aiko Breakup
This week has been an emotional rollercoaster for Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, and their fans. Earlier in the week, a report from MediaTakeOut claimed that the TWENTY88 duo had split after a decade together and a shared son. The news left many fans disappointed, as the pair have long been considered one of music’s most admired power couples.
However, it appears there’s no actual proof that the breakup rumors are true. While the speculation continued to spread, a fan on X named NatchezIndian tagged Big Sean in a post asking for clarification, as noted by Kurrco.
In response, the Detroit rapper made it clear that everything is fine between him and Jhene. “No, it’s pretty funny how the internet can give life to things with no confirmation. I’m sendin love to everyone tho [raising hands emoji sparkles emoji],” he replied.
His reply also indirectly dismissed claims that he’s already moved on with someone new. The same fan had asked, “you broke up with the queen over a powdered donut my n****?”—a reference to a viral video that surfaced around the same time as the breakup chatter.
Big Sean & Jhene Aiko Relationship Status
According to Billboard, the clip in question came from a N3on livestream featuring Sexyy Red, showing a white woman standing close to Sean. Many online quickly assumed he was seeing someone else. But Sean set the record straight, explaining that he had no connection to the person in the video.
“Yeah unfortunately I never met this person in my life lol. This girl was standing next to @hitboy who is cut out the video,” he wrote on X. “I don’t know why the f*ck she was so close to me though. I didn’t see it at all til I saw this video and can understand the frustrations. Smh [crying-laughing face emoji]. But I don’t even know this person at all.”
Jhene Aiko hasn’t yet addressed the ongoing rumors about their relationship. For now, it seems the two are still together and focused on raising their nearly three-year-old son, Noah Hasani Chilombo-Anderson.
The breakup speculation also included claims that Sean didn’t want to get married. This connects to his earlier comments about prioritizing growth before marriage. “I can only speak for myself that there needs to be like more work done so we could keep going. Because there’s a lot of focus on our family. There’s a lot of focus on careers and everything. And that is something that I feel like has not been the main focus.”
