Drake Gives Janice $5K During Exclusive Toronto Event

"Janice STFU" has quickly become the breakout hit from ICEMAN, and it is expected to remain one of Drake's biggest songs throughout 2026. Unfortunately for anyone actually named Janice, they may have to put up with plenty of people jokingly telling them to "shut the f**k up." To make light of the situation, Drake hosted Janice only parties in several cities on Sunday, June 28, and videos from the Toronto celebration have already started making the rounds online.

The exclusive gatherings were also held in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Houston. DJ Akademiks TV shared clips from the Toronto event on Instagram, including footage of the long line that formed outside Cactus Club as guests waited to get inside.

One of the women named Janice who attended the Toronto event reportedly walked away with a $5,000 cash prize courtesy of the OVO boss. A video captured the giveaway moment, showing her excitement as the crowd celebrated alongside her.

As more footage continues to surface from these events, Drake's latest promotional idea is already being praised for its originality. The Janice parties join the growing list of creative ICEMAN rollout strategies, including the trilogy format, ice sculptures, interactive websites, and other unique ideas designed to keep fans engaged.

Not everyone has been impressed by Drake's Janice themed events. O'Shea Jackson Jr. recently joked that the concept reminded him of Operation Flagship, the 1985 sting operation in which 101 fugitives were arrested after being lured with fake offers of free football tickets. Thankfully, there have been no reports of any Janices unexpectedly getting caught up in anything similar at these parties.

Beyond the Janice events, Drake has also continued showing support for local businesses and restaurants. Most recently, Houston eatery Lost In Da Sauce Kitchen uploaded a video of Drizzy enjoying its loaded fries and sliders while giving the food high praise.

The Janice parties were held from 1 PM until 4 PM, and fans are expected to keep posting videos and photos from the celebrations across social media. While DJs will probably keep spinning "Janice STFU" at parties everywhere, those named Janice can at least say they attended one of these exclusive gatherings.

Who knows what Drake will come up with next for his album rollout. Maybe it will be a run club in Atlanta or even a 6ix God inspired reboot of the Nicholas Cage classic National Treasure.

Another clip also surfaced from the New York Janice party, where one attendee received a $2,500 prize. Unlike some of the other locations, the New York gathering appeared to have a more formal lunch setting.
