Joe Budden calls out 38 Spesh for taking shots at Jim Jones

A new rap feud is beginning to heat up in New York, with 38 Spesh exchanging words with several respected veterans, most notably Jadakiss. Jim Jones later entered the discussion and criticized Spesh’s clothing, but those remarks quickly turned the attention toward him. During his Summer Jam performance over the weekend, Spesh previewed fresh lyrics before releasing his latest track, “Fool’s Mate.”

Although the song and its accompanying video take shots at Jadakiss and Fat Joe, neither artist receives the harshest attacks. Jim Jones becomes the main focus, and the hosts of The Joe Budden Podcast were unhappy with Spesh bringing Jones’s wife, Chrissy Lampkin, into the situation. Spesh delivers lines including, “You had a baby by a bum bitch that’s a fools mate.” He later continues, “You wanna be a street na so bad that you got Alpo old bitch/ But Po said she don’t blow dick… Na you can’t even go home and get a blowjob.”

Joe Budden Responds To 38 Spesh

“Dissing Chrissy seems like a total misstep,” Joe said. The group generally agreed that the dispute had not become serious enough to justify such personal attacks, making Spesh’s decision to intensify matters feel unwarranted. “I’m not a fan of dissing nobody’s wife but some people are just known for minding their business,” Joe added. “Those people you don’t involve in whatever sideshow you’re doing.”

Budden later revealed that he had considered bringing 38 Spesh onto the podcast for a discussion with Jim Jones. However, because Spesh appeared to take the conflict too far, Joe explained that he was no longer interested in arranging that conversation.
