Sharon Stone reveals she once dated Nelly

Sharon Stone has revealed that she once went out on a date with Nelly.

While playing a game on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Sunday, the Basic Instinct star was asked to respond to the long-standing rumor that she had been on a date with the Hot in Herre rapper.

Before she even answered, host Andy Cohen jumped in with his guess, saying, “I mean, this is crazy enough that I actually might believe it.”

Stone’s Nobody 2 co-star Bob Odenkirk also chimed in, adding, “I’m going to say yeah.”

The actress, who is now 67, then confirmed with a laugh, “Yes, I did,” as the audience reacted with surprise.

Cohen followed up by asking if there was a second date, to which she shook her head and replied, “No, I did not.”

The Casino star didn’t go into further detail, leaving out when the date happened or why they didn’t meet again.

Stone, who is currently single, was previously married to Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004, and she has three adopted sons: Roan, 25, Laird, 20, and Quinn, 19.

As for Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., he famously dated Ashanti between 2003 and 2013 before rekindling their romance in 2023. The couple married later that year and welcomed their first child together, a son named Kareem, in July of last year.

Nelly is also father to two children from earlier relationships and took in his stepsister’s two kids after she passed away in 2005.
