HUNTR/X Celebrate Another Chart-Topping Week

By Newsdesk

They’re climbing once again! KPop Demon Hunters’ HUNTR/X return to the top with Golden, earning their ninth non-consecutive week at Number 1.

After briefly losing their crown to Taylor Swift and The Fate of Ophelia, HUNTR/X reclaim the top spot, ending the track’s impressive two-week streak at Number 1. The Fate of Ophelia now moves down to second place.

RAYE’s WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! continues to rise, moving up one spot to Number 3.

Big congratulations are in order for Dave and Lily Allen, who both see three songs from their latest albums break into the Top 20.

Dave lands this week’s highest new entry with Raindance featuring Tems (5), while his collaboration with James Blake on History enters the Top 10 (9). His track with Kano, Chapter 16, also makes an appearance just outside the Top 10 at Number 11.

With these entries, Dave becomes only the second British rapper ever to have three singles in the Top 40 at the same time, joining Stormzy, who achieved this milestone back in 2019.

After a seven-year break, Lily Allen makes her long-awaited return to the Official Singles Chart with Pussy Palace (12), West End Girl (17), and Madeline.

The celebrations for British artists don’t stop there. Rising star Skye Newman continues her breakout year by adding another hit to her growing list of chart successes, with FU & UF debuting at Number 18. Her track Family Matters also re-enters the chart at Number 25 following the release of her debut EP SE9 Part 1.

And finally, it wouldn’t be Halloween without one of the most iconic songs of all time. Michael Jackson’s Thriller makes its annual comeback, dancing its way back into the Top 40 at Number 33.
