Niall Horan Announces New Album ‘Dinner Party’ And Its Release Date

Niall Horan is inviting fans to pull up a chair, because he is getting ready to serve up his next musical era.

The former One Direction star revealed on Instagram Wednesday (March 18) that his much awaited fourth studio album will arrive in under three months.

“My brand new album ‘dinner party’ will be yours june 5th,” Horan wrote in the caption of his post.

The update included two images showing both the album artwork and the official tracklist. The cover shows Horan standing in a kitchen holding a mug, surrounded by a mix of decorative plates, teacups and a full tea set. The tracklist confirms the record will contain 12 songs. No guest artists appear on the list, although it remains possible that collaborations could still be revealed later.

The announcement follows a message he shared on X on Feb. 24 where he told fans his “Album is DONE.” Alongside that update he posted several studio photos and brief instrumental previews believed to be from two tracks that will appear on Dinner Party.

Not long after, the singer started building excitement around the lead single and title song “Dinner Party” by responding to fans online with short previews of the track. In a March 2 Instagram post, the former boy band star also spoke about the personal meaning behind the song. While playing piano, he explained the track was inspired by how he met his longtime girlfriend Amelia Woolley, which happened during a dinner gathering. Then on March 4 he confirmed the song would arrive on Friday (March 20).

Dinner Party follows his 2023 album The Show, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Throughout his solo career, Horan has placed seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 including his 2017 hit “Slow Hands,” which peaked at No. 11 and came from his debut solo album Flicker, a project that reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. His 2020 release Heartbreak Weather also performed strongly, reaching No. 4 on the chart.
