Watch BTS’ Jin Give Cooking Lessons While V And Jimin Joke Around
The members of BTS have completed their military duties. They have also just released a new album titled ARIRANG. This time, they are stepping into the kitchen to prepare a meal together.
In a lighthearted video shared by Vogue on Friday (March 27), Jin, V, and Jimin come together in a kitchen to cook janchi guksu, a traditional Korean noodle soup, along with misugaru, a drink made from ground grains. Jin naturally stepped into the role of head cook since he had the most experience, while V and Jimin helped as assistants. Of course, the two could not resist having some fun along the way. V kept throwing noodles in the air while shouting with excitement as he strained them, while Jimin got distracted from his responsibilities by continuing to add more and more sugar into his misugaru.
“You have to be able to chew it,” Jimin said before getting Jin to try some of the drink, with Jin conceding that it tasted good. “I told you it’s good! This is the Busan style. More sugar than you think you need.”
“Who used all the sugar?” V later asked.
By the end of the entertaining cooking moment, the three idols successfully finished their dishes and even took photos of the results. Most of their attention stayed on the cooking, but they also briefly spoke about their new album during the process. V explained that ARIRANG “expresses our intent to mark a change.”
The clip arrived exactly one week after ARIRANG was released. Despite that short time, BTS have already packed in a long list of major appearances. One day after the album came out, the group held a large scale comeback concert in Seoul. After that, they traveled to New York City where they performed for fans at a Spotify event and appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, including a special performance filmed inside the Guggenheim museum.
